Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, communicate, and resolve program-level roadblocks for multiple geographically distributed scrum teams
  • Coordinate proper collaboration across all the scrum teams
  • Coordinate the successful release of high-quality, stable software
  • Break down cross-team barriers
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning
  • Oversee the schedule and manage PI deliverables
  • Track, analyze, and report standard agile metrics
  • Work with stakeholders to to develop and maintain the roadmap
  • Act as a unifier helping individual goals become program goals

Required Skills

  • Advanced understanding of Agile Principles
  • Adherence to the Agile Manifesto with justified flexibility
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience leading teams through resolution of program issues
  • Excellent communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and mentoring skills
  • Proven leadership skills in directing all phases of a release
  • Highly motivated and passionate about working in a fast, agile environment
  • High adaptability
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with management, business users, and IT resources
  • Leadership through influence–not position authority

Required Experience

  • Experience with Kanban, Scrum, XP, SAFe, organizational change management – Desired
  • Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (Jira, Rally, VersionOne)
  • Experience working with federal government agencies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • SAFe 4.0 Release Train Engineer (RTE)
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
